Video diary: Smith & Wessons model 94

This week I will demonstrate the Smith & Wessons model 94 handcuffs! I’m really proud to own them, since I haven’t seen them anywhere. Maybe they are rare! They have a totally different lock and key. The lock and key are round, which makes it impossible to escape them without the key, and I really like that! It’s fun to handcuff someone with these and give them a normal key ;-) Check out the video!!

i have a challenge for you, handcuff your hands away from eachother so you cant reach one hand with the other, and try to escape that. or hands behind you around a tree

Chrissy: I still like what I see. I hope you will try the 2 chalenges I sent you. I am surprized you dont have a Neck Cuff in your collection. Its a must for most handcuff collectors.

Model 94’s were known as S&W’s Maximum Security cuffs – strong, and pretty much impossible to pick by ordinary means. Popular in the early 1980’s for prisons. Not easy to get at any time; they were the first non-standard cuffs I’d ever bought.

These cuffs are rare because they were quickly discontinued when it was found that the lock was fairly easily picked with a Bic pen. The current version uses a more conventional, but different key.
