Hi guys, we have a Humane Restraints waist belt!! Humane? Is it really? We have to find out! I try to strap Zara in this belt, attaching it to the prison bed. The belt even locks, so there is no escape without the key!
As Zara put it: ‘so in a never ending spiral of worse and worse ideas, we cuffed ourselves to 12 kilo chains with the key hanging high above us’. Yes, that was really what we did. Fortunately, I am a lot stronger than Zara, she couldn’t even lift the chain. I should have left her there hahahha!!
We don’t really understand why there is a longer version of these hinged cuffs. They don’t seem to be any harder to escape. We thought it would be harder to reach the keyholes, but it’s even easier? Can anyone tell us why these extended handcuffs exist?
Tadaaaa, we made pipe LIPS! Don’t worry if you are not sure what that is, we aren’t sure either. It was probably the worst idea in a while, and we nearly got stuck in this super heavy contraption. Don’t try pipe LIPS at home, that’s all we can say!

Here’s a fun fact (or not so fun if your name is Zara): Zara has never in her entire life managed to inflate a balloon! She can’t do it. Feebly blowing into it, that’s all she can manage. I try to teach her the right technique but will she be able to do it? Popping balloons on the other hand, that’s Zara’s specialty! She almost gave me a heart attack! So scary!
We had this great idea to lock both wrists in both cuffs of a regular pair of handcuffs. Well, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Even a bit painful. And very risky!! Do NOT put the keyholes facing each other or you will be stuck for life! You need small wrists for this, because regular handcuffs are apparently not made to fit two wrists whhahaha :D
Irish8 palms out is extremely strict!! But what if your Irish8’s are just a tiny bit too big and your cuffing victim can turn her wrists back? Well, then you can add a pair of thumbcuffs. This prevents turning the wrists back and you will be incredibly stuck! No escape possible, even if you have the keys. Do not try this at home!
Hmm what if you could do a hogcuff, but attach the ankles to the elbows instead of the wrists! That would be awesome! Me and Zara try to work out how to do this and what the problems could be if you attempt this at home. It’s not as easy as it sounds, but we have to do this… for science!
Me and Zara are not Dutch, but we live in Holland. This country keeps amazing us! We found a game called Pot Luck. And you will just have to watch the video to find out what it’s about (we can’t type that here without upsetting paypal whahah). It is very strange! But playing games in cuffs is one of our favorite hobbies, especially rare board games like these!

I was happily walking around in my butterfly cuffs, exploring nature and enjoying the park, when suddenly a lot of people approached! In the past, we may have used the blue box wrong. But we got it right a few times too. Today, we will try to find out once and for all how to do it correctly all the time. We want to end up with a padlock behind the back, and no padlocks in front. That way, a blue box is truly inescapable, even if you find a key!

Woooohoo we have new cuffs in our collection! We got these KUB handcuffs in size small. But they still seem a little big for us. Especially for Zara, with her tiny wrists she can get out of a lot of cuffs and these are not adjustable. So it means only I can use them, and I don’t mind at all hahahah :)
I went for a picnic and brought my thumbcuffs with me! Putting them on and relaxing outdoors was supposed to be a lot of fun, until I realized I couldn’t really eat my food that I brought. We were wondering if we can build effective cuffs from some heavy pieces of pipes and some connectors! After all, it would be the ultimate adjustable restraint if you can build it yourself! Even Zara shouldn’t be able to escape it if we make it tight enough!

Well, I thought it would be a great idea to cuff ourselves with handcuffs hanging from the ceiling, with the key laying on the floor. Turns out it’s not a great idea. Don’t try this at home! The only way to get the key into your hands is to take off your shoes, grab it with your toes and then throw it up (with your leg) and catch it. The problem is, we had a big hole in the ceiling to hang the chains from. And of course… the key went flying into the hole. No chance of escaping after that…
